Our attempt at gardening-we are trying lettuce, beets, carrots, squash, and bell peppers.  I also put in some pre-grown rosemary & basil.  Things are sprouting!  Our weather is still in the high 80's here!

Emma's Nursery

Here are things that have inspired Emma's room.  These are things we have or are en route to make Emma's room a special place.  Not too girly or Disney...just a touch of Disney. ;)

Wonderful print I found on Etsy

Wall Stickies-we have the matching crib sheets, too.  Thanks Jackie!

Emma's Amazing Blocks made at the SD baby shower.  Eventually I'm going to put them on a wall shelf for better showcasing.  I love them!  Thanks to all my block makers!!!!

New House

We are slowly but surely settling into our new house.  We closed on September 14th, and moved everything in over the next couple of days.  Luckily my whole family helped, and my friend Sarah and her husband helped for a few hours, too.  It was a lot of work!  The weather was in the low 90's, which is pretty good for mid-September.  Seems like ever since that weekend we have been in the high 90's, low 100's.  This is the time of year where the heat really starts to drive everyone crazy.  Supposedly next week we will finally start having days in the 80's.  Here are a bunch of photos from our moving days, and a couple of shots of 2 rooms that are almost done.
