Our blog has turned into more of a picture gallery than a blog. What can we say, we've had a busy almost 4 months! In 10 days Emma will be 4 months old. It has been a wonderful journey! I, Tracy the blogger, feel so lucky to have been able to stay home this whole time with Emma. My scheduled return to work was March 18th, but by a lucky twist in fate James has landed a nice job, allowing me to stay home another month with her. Let me repeat that! James has landed a nice job! He is getting out of working at the Hilton just in time, too! Summer will be here soon, and it would have been his third summer working outside in the miserable heat. And summer here last a good 6 months in my opinion. Now James is working for the County in a nice air-conditioned laboratory, where he is testing the County waters and putting his smart brain to good use. We couldn't be more happy for him.
Emma is such a delight. I need to post more videos. Be sure and check out the video I posted with the group of pictures entitled "Late March Pictures & Video". Emma babbles and smiles to no end. She has some goofy parents that help bring it out in her. I took this video at a park close to our house. I have been trying to take her outside everyday, and plan to keep it up until the temperatures start to soar. She likes spending time with her cousins, Aunts, Uncles, & Grandma & Grandpa. We hope to take her to California in May so she can spend time with the Villalpando Grandma & Grandpa & Aunts & Uncles & cousins. Emma also likes going on playdates, trips to the zoo, and she is now big enough to face out in her baby carrier so she likes that mode of transportation more now. She has found her hands and feet, so they are a constant source of entertainment. She has tummy time three times a day, and we think she'll definitely master the roll over within the next few weeks.
If you haven't had a chance to come out and meet Emma yet we hope you can visit sometime soon, or that we can catch you this summer. Yesterday she met my good friend Vanessa who came out from San Diego, so that was a lot of fun. I'll try to write more in the future and keep everyone up to date with Emma's progress. Happy Spring Everyone!
Congratulations James!! So happy for you guys. That would be awesome to make it out there sometime within the next couple months!
