Pregnancy

At the end of July we found out we are having a girl!  We are very excited, and it was fun telling the girl cousins here in Tucson.  Abby,5, yelled out "Awesome!" and gave Amber, 10, a high five in excitement.  Abby was a little nervous about what to do with a boy cousin.  We are naming our daughter Emma.  The pregnancy has been going really smoothly, and Emma is healthy.  On Wednesday the 22nd I will be 6 months.  At our ultrasound we had to wait an hour to find out what we were having.  She had her legs crossed in the beginning so the ultrasound technician focused on everything else for the first 50 minutes.  It was really hard to wait so long, but they did warn us that sometimes they can't tell at first and you have to come back.  So at least we were able to find out in the first visit.  Luckily we have two highly qualified registry consultants who live here (Tricia & Michael), so making our baby registry was a piece of cake.  If you would like to check them out we have one with Target and one with Amazon.  Lucky Emma will be having a San Diego and Tucson shower.
