Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was very special.  In the morning James & Emma gave me a picture frame, a homemade card, and some chocolates.  Then we had a delicious brunch with my family and went to my parent's house for a little while.  Next we went home and had a 2 hour nap.  In the evening we went to Toys R Us and got Emma a swimsuit and a couple new toys.  It was a perfect day.

Ride at Toys R Us.  It has Woody Woodpecker and Chilly Willy, who James is obsessed with.

Zoe & Amber's Birthday Parties

In April Zoe turned 1 and Amber turned 11.  Both parties had cake from Nadines, the same bakery that made my fabulous birthday cake.  The cakes they do are so fun.  Check out Amber's ladybug cake, & Zoe's neon cake for her neon themed party. I have lots more pics from Zoe's party to post later.  Lots of cousin love. :)

Check out Emma's AMAZING new "It's a Small World!" mural.  My lovely friend Raeschelle was over & showing me the awesome artwork her & her husband Ruben did for their kids at their house.  I loved it, and she offered to do one for us for a housewarming/baby gift.  Ruben did a quick sketch on the wall in pencil, and Raeschelle painted it.  They donated a lot of their free weekend time to do this for us.  We LOVE it & are so grateful for such a special gift.
